A mildly hot Fresno-type yielding bright red, cone-shaped, 4-in. long fruits that appear similar to a jalapeno when green but possess only about 800 Scovilles, maturing red with more heat and a fruitier, smokier flavor. Best for chili but also ideal for salsas, stir-fry, sautéing or using fresh. More productive, larger fruits than similar varieties in its class. Broadly adaptable.
